Basic Philosophy

Our Group contributes to society by lowering defect rates in our manufacturing processes, reducing waste generated and further treating wastes to enable recycling, as measures to combat the depletion of resources.
And we contributes to the resolution of water resource issues by recognizing the tap water and well water used in our business activities as water resources, and by undertaking the reduction of usage, as measures to combat the depletion of resources.

Reduction of Waste Generated

In fiscal 2016, the waste emission basic unit was 0.061 tons/million yen, worsened by 2.8% as compared with fiscal 2015. Such worsened figure is thought to be caused by temporary emission increase as a result of establishment of new plant in addition to the emission increase as a result of steep production rise.
