Air Heater

Application
The air heater is a device for heating the intake air of direct fuel-injection engines used for large- and medium-sized vehicles or for general purposes. It is used when the engine starts, and it helps improve the starting performance when the temperature is low, in order to stabilize idling after engine start-up, and to reduce the amount of white smoke. It can be used for various types of engines, from 1.5 L or less small-sized general-purpose engines to 20 L or greater engines for large-sized vehicles.

Features

  • An iron-chrome alloy that excels in oxidation resistance is used for the heater material.
  • The degree of freedom in the installation shape aligned with the intake shape is high.
  • Due to the large power supply, the temperature of the exhaust air stabilizes rapidly.
  • Typical power specifications: 200 to 1,200 W for the 12 V system and 1,000 to 2,000 W for the 24 V system
