We have developed a water quality management system that visualizes the quality of water in seawater by applying the sensing technology we have cultivated through the development of in-vehicle sensors. We are also developing a land-based aquaculture system that combines IoT and AI technologies.

What is water quality management systems?

It is a system that automatically measures the water quality in seawater and visualizes it on a terminal such as a smartphone. We have designed and developed an application that senses water quality with various sensors and builds a database necessary for aquaculture business on the cloud.
This system was developed by applying the structural design technology, data analysis technology, and sensor control algorithm technology that we have cultivated through the development of automotive sensors.

What is a land-based aquaculture system?

It is a system that enables aquaculture based on water quality data by converting invisible water quality into data through a water quality management system. We are currently developing an automated feeding system, and once this is realized, the only human work that will be required is to check the system for abnormalities. By converting the growth know-how necessary for aquaculture into data, human error will be eliminated and stable aquaculture will become possible.
We are currently developing this system for shrimp farming.

Looking toward the future

Compared to sea-based aquaculture, land-based aquaculture is free from marine pollution caused by feed and marine excrement. In addition, thanks to the less susceptibility to weather conditions, planned production allows for a stable supply of marine products throughout the year. Through our water quality sensing technology, we aim to contribute to global environmental issues such as the preservation of ocean and river water quality and the stable supply of food.
